Haughton East Liberal Democrat Focus Team

The Haughton East Focus team of Dr Robert Upshall and Robin Cradock are hard at work in the ward. The whole ward has been surveyed and the team is following up many of the problems and issues raised by local residents.

Dr Upshall is a local GP, many of whose patients live in the ward. He has been a Parliamentary Candidate for the Green Party and writes on medical and environmental matters. Robin Cradock has worked on local transport initiatives, including Town on the Move. Robert and Robin were the Liberal Democrat Candidates in Haughton East ward in the local elections in May 2007. The result of the local election in Haughton East was: Chapman (Conservative) 208; Robin Cradock (Lib Dem) 410; McEwan (Labour) 646; Robert Upshall (Lib Dem) 430; Walker (Labour) 561.
