Conservatives abandon Sedgefield!

The Conservatives, already in a clear third place in the Sedgefield By-election have suffered another blow. David Cameron has seemingly abandoned the Sedgefield campaign. In the Ealing Southall by-election campaign the Candidate is standing under the banner of "David Cameron's Conservatives". Here in Sedgefield the candidate is standing under the "Conservative Party" tag.
Lib Dem Candidate Greg Stone said, "I know the Conservatives realise that they are out of the race in Sedgefield and this is another example. It is plainly obvious to see that the perceived 'Cameron effect' has not reached Sedgefield. More and more people are saying that a vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote to beat Labour here in Sedgefield."
